  looks like a dug coin, but be careful some cast fakes look similer

  I has all the signs of a corroded dug (or I suppose it could have corroded outside the dirt, but unlikely) coin that was cleaned up.

  Yep. Used to dig those up all over the Delaware Valley when I was a kid in Pennsylvania.
