I do not see a single southern gold coin among their newps. What the hell were they doing out there? imageimage

The astronomers have just declared Pluto to be a non-planet.

Maybe the professional numismatists have just declared Charlotte, Dahlonega and New Orleans to be non-mints.image
    All glory is fleeting.
  • We try to keep our eyes open for them but it's really hard to find pieces that have not been played with.
  • Did this one come from the Denver Show ?

  • I have a great memory for coins and I don't ever recall having seen that coin. It must have just come in. Nice color and textile, textile being one thing that really makes a coin desireable.

Nope, that coin came from a client who sold some coins back to us that we placed with him. It's a beautiful coin that we were happy to own again. Too bad we didn't own it for long. image

  • I've been looking for a textile that I liked and was reasonably priced, I think that one will do the trick. image
