Is this an RPM?

The coin in question is a 1950-D Washington Quarter. It looks like remnants of a mintmark on the lower right of the mintmark.

Hmm. It could be. I see an entry for a 50D DDR, but no RPM in Breen's book.

There are some D/Ss, but they don't look like that.

    Yes rdunnit, it sure is.
There are several listed for the 50D Washie.
Go to the CONECA site and check it out.

I have been to CONECA's website but ther aren't any pictures to compare RPM's with. I also have a 1951-D Washington that is definitely an RPM, but once again I'm not sure which one. If CONECA had a photograghic book to accompany their descriptions it would be awesome. I would pay for that service on a monthly basis if they could put the pictures online!!image

Here are the pics of the 1951-D:

I believe the 50D is the -003, as for the 51D- you have to check the markers listed on the site.
    Hope this helps.

The 50D is D/D South Cone E-07 and the 51 looks to be RPM#1 which also has machine doubling Cone E-02.

Right out of the RPM book which is a very handy book with pictures.
