a superb cherry pick misattributed from long beach heritage signature auction

an older holder coin and so it does not say small letters on the holder and they have it misattributed as a large letters!!! the pops are totally different for the small letters which this coin is !! significantly so and the coin is a no brainer small letters also from the reverse as the coin was modified with the eagle being slightly recessed so the small letters has a better strike on the leaves on the reverse even from the reverse it is to me just an average coillector a small letters 1858!!.....................me thinks??
a rare gem small letters coin ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and i would not like to be the consignor of this coin
i am surprised such a thing could happen with professional catalogers doing this on a multi thousand 4500+ dollar coin

Don't forget, they haven't always seperated the LL and SL pops - the large number of LL's is in part a hold over from those days. It remains to be seen what the true pops difference is.
