New 1831 Bust Half

I picked up this piece at a coin show in Wichita last weekend.
It's my second example of this date, but I believe this one is an O-103. I'd say a square VF.

I noted the fine crack at the base of the date, which is where I reached my opinion.

I know there are a number of experts on this board, so I was wondering what others thought.

....I'm not familiar with that term, but I'm hoping it means something better than it sounds.
I actually just completed a trade to a friend on this new one for a VF grade 1824, which is a date I don't have yet for my collection. That has to be a record for the shortest amount of time a coin has resided in my collection.
After consideration, I thought I would try and assemble different dates before different varieties.
mmmmm nice eye candy!!!

Exactly the same position each of us was when we bought our 10th coin. It's not a sprint! Patience is required. And those are some nice coins.
Bust Halves are my secondary focus. I like them, but not as much as I like early colonial 2 reales.
I've found it's better to work slow and buy careful. It's easier to regret the coin you didn't buy, than it is to regret the one you did.
aren't the beautiful?
Lovely ORIGINAL looking coin.
