I know everything is bigger in Texas, but is there anything of numismatic interest in Plano, TX?

Does anyone know? Any decent dealers there, or does Heritage dominate the entire state? I may be visiting soon.

Plano is only 20 miles from Dallas so Heritage and Anaconda are right there.

  • How soon? There is a nice show in Richardson (next to Plano) this weekend.

If you are visiting Plano, you will be less than 15 minutes from us. Let me know when you'd like to stop by and I'll give you the 10c tour and maybe throw in lunch. We have coins, a 26ft long anaconda skin, a real shrunken head from South America, and petrified dinosour poop! image

Woops - I thought I was signing in.

Brandon - petrified dinosaur poop? Put a coin (pocket change) on it and shoot the picture (just to conform to forum rules). I'd like to see that. How do you know it's not just a plop of concrete?

In Plano, I'm the ONLY game in town imageimage (except for David Pike??? - who SERIUOSLY frowns on bargaining image ) Give me a call (214-597-7055) I'll buy you lunch. image

p.s. Jeff, David Pike is Ginger's husband. They run the Grapevine show.

p.p.s. Richardson is Plano & N. Dallas' "stepchild". The only thing it has going for it is a Starbucks image

C'mon Jeff, you know that EAST Plano doesn't REALLY count. imageimageimageimage

    p.s. chill dude.

p.p.s. except for the McJKinney, the Richardson one is the worst in the area for the year. Not saying you can't get a deal there but don't even think of selling and getting reasonable offers! image

Many moons ago I got, "lucky" in Plano. Right friendly people. Now this was back in the mid 70's, but they not only picked up hitch hikers they fed em also. Nice town, real friendly people. I'm gonna have to go back one of these days. I appreciated the ride and seriously needed the meal. jws

Dillon Gage is in nearby Addison, and though mainly known for bullion, often has an good
inventory of raw and slabbed material. Ask for Jay Rudo.
