Red book for newbies

I bought it from the Gold Exchange in Redding CA. The dealer there is very helpful to new collectors.
Also a big Thank you to JJM for the 1946 half dollar. Its my birth year and I wish I was in as good shape.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the people here that take time to help us new guys ... Thanks everyone

Yes, the Red Book is an excellent reference for Newbies.

It's good basic reference material. Not something you need to buy every year because its pricing data is less relevant today than it was decades ago, but I think collectors should have at least one fairly recent copy.
