Roll call-- Who is attending the NY Invitational Show next month?

Is anyone here going (collectors and dealers)? What day(s) are you thinking of attending? I believe there is an ANR auction, so I am sure there will be some interesting coins to be had. Let's get a roll call going.

Why don't you like the City? It has character. image

  • I'll be dropping by, but is there a website that has show info.? I just saw a little bit on the Rare Coin Wholesalers site (by virtue of a web search for the show).

Apparently it's being held on West 18th Street in the building next to where I used to work...image Not exactly a central location. Wasn't this show at the Hyatt?

More information (show hours, etc.) would be helpful.

Chicolini: Mint? No, no, I no like a mint. Uh - what other flavor you got?

    We will be there.
  • Apparently the Long Beach September show is the week prior to this show in NY. Hopefully that will not affect dealer turnout, but I can see it being the reason the show is downtown and not at the Hyatt.

Not me. Disappointing show. It's a show for dealers, not collectors.

I went to New York with my girlfriend last year.

At 300 per night for a motel and roughly 40 a day in parking, I found it quite a little more than what my 500 dollar mortgage per month is back in nebraska. The 8 dollar ice cream cone was good image

I licked it as slow as possible.... them new york minutes go by so fast !

NYC has motels (said as I am looking out my office at where the ball drops on new year's eve)?
