I bought my new lense for photographing coins and it was sent fedex. I ordered it at 5:00pm and it was on the truck for delivery the next morning - pretty quick I'm thinking! Well that was just the start of it. Fedex told me they could redirect the package to my work since I am not home during the day. LIE! Another person told me the same thing. LIE! They told me I could come pick it up as long as I got there by 8:00pm. LIE! I finally got the package about a week later and felt I needed to write a letter to Fedex corporate in Atlanta to vent about my experience. Apparently it worked because I got this in the mail today (just a week after writing the letter). Talk about spactacular recovery! That was a NICE surprise!

I just went thru a rigamahroll with GE over a washer I bought back in January. The timer switch broke and it was tripping the breaker. The warranty service guy never called us back, and when he did, he never showed. We went back and forth with GE and Home Depot trying to get it fixed, finally, we had to pay out of pocket to get it looked at. GE told the repair guy it would be 6 monthes to get the part. Home Depot finally just gave us a new washer, and today GE finally agreed to pay for our service call and some of the laundromat money we had to shell out. Persistence will pay off sometimes.
