I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
Let 4SC submit it for you and it'll come back a 10
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
I would say it has a way outside shot at a 9. That has 8 written all over it. A sweet card with a lot of eye appeal. I would take that in an 8 any day of the week!
<< <i>Check out the centering and corners on this PSA 9 Carew. The left side is rather rough cut also. >>
Actually the bottom two corners on the Carew show wear.
I need a 9 , but passed on this one. >>
I think the upper right shows wear too. I just had some 72's come back as 6's that look that nice. I thought they were 8's and that's why they are cracked out already
I would expect an 8 on the Mays, but I don't think a 9 is out of the question. I've certainly seen 9s with worse centering. Check out the centering on this 1978 Topps FB Wilbur Summers. I know it's a different issue, but, still... it seems they let it slide now and then.

Loves me some shiny!
Could ya rescan for more detail but just show the corners?
The centering does fall within the range of a 9 IMO - your card is somewhere between 65/35 and 60/40
