I bet that coin looks A LOT better in hand than those pics show. The pic in the slab is a better representation of the coins skin than those overdone full obv/rev pics

The colors are drastically different between the closeup and slab picture--if it's as light as the closeup, it's possible there was a knock for an old cleaning.

The detail of this common 1807 O.105 is enough for AU50, but his description "showing traces of some golden luster" sounds more like XF 45. It is all about the luster, which you can't determine from an image. I have several draped busts in the AU ranges, I would not buy an AU unless the seller had a good return policy, or at auction unless I knew of the coin or had someone check out the luster. The AU's are too expensive to make a mistake on, you don't want to pay AU money for an XF.
