I was very disapointed with my sets I got in the mail friday. Every coin seemed to have multiple hits, and this was over 10 sets I have checked so far, they will be going back on Monday.

My one set turned out to be great. I was holding off on opening it because so many people are saying theirs are so bad. But I broke down and opened the set and now I am going to order more. They are clean, nice satin finish on all the coins and P & D are both great strikes. I'll let you all know if the additional sets I order are as nice. Subscription? Yes. Maybe that is why I got good ones? I don't know.

I have been a collector for over mumbly-five years. I learn something new every day.
Some of the worse sets that I have seen in awhile! Lots of those nice deep scratches that look like somebody used a file to grind the surface, more proof like finishes than Satin Finish and rim dings!!!
Anything without scratches or crumby planchets has spots all over it!

The satin look really is nice, but it means that there is another coin of each type that I need to collect.
I am pleased, there were some hits and scratches that I didn't like on the kennedy from denver, but stuff happens.
The state quarters look really nice in my dansco album, both the 05 and 06 coins far outclass the previous years.

Is it just me or is this true every year?
