I does not matter if you collect modern proof sets or Bust Dollars. Every person on this board has in common an interest in coins.

My friends could care less about a 1874 cc dime. To them I am just wasting money.
I seldom check PM's but do check emails often jason@seated.org

Buying great coins - monster eye appeal only.
  • I enjoy Shamika's comments on Buffalos.

There are quite a few here, but the first to come to my mind were Slumlord, Julian, Coinguy1, MrEureka and Dahlonega.
  • In no particular order:

    David Hall
    Julian Leidman
    Andy Lustig.

They have a broad range of numismatic knowledge as well as many years of business experience. That being said, there are members here who are more knowledgeable in their specific areas of interest than almost anyone in the country.

It is not realistcally possible to choice the most knowlegable. This is because everyone specializes in their own certain way. For example, some are knowledgeable in seated coins while others are knowledgeable in gold pieces!

There are so many true experts on this forum. I will mention a few that I appreciate .
Additional recognition: Patterns: Andy Lustig and Rick Kay.
Half Dimes Stephen Crain. General seated coinage: Roadrunner. The numismatic memories of Roadrunner and Michael are amazing.
Integrity and sharing knowledge award: Mark Feld(Coinguy1).
