Now this is a Peace $ hoard..

Here's one of the coins he owns. It's the first 21' rotate reverse I've seen. He collects only 1921 Peace dollars and has, get this, 3000 of them mostly in 64 and higher in PCGS and NGC slabs. He has some in MS-67 as well. Yep, we're talking in the millions of $ here...

I just have to say that I can't think of a more boring collection. I think Dr. Mickey needs to put a little spice into his collecting......image

Peace dollars don't scan well. They can be very lustrous and still scan like that. The idea s to see the rotation so no big deal.

He is a great person to talk to. I bought a MS63 and a MS64 that are too die for from Kevin. This was a rare moment when he was actually selling 1921 Peace dollars.image He has complete grading sets of TPG'ed 1921 Peace dollars. NCG PO01 threw MS67.image PCGS FA02 threw MS66. He needs a PCGS PO01 BTW.image

Yes, it sure does, to me. I agree with the technical grade if one accounts for the soft strike of the '21 Peace. But that sucker sure does look cleaned to hellenback...

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
