It does make me wonder why? Just like any other dealer flaming that happens on here. Why does the Heritage slamming get pulled? In actuality, Quality1 was the only one that had flamed Heritage. So why does this thread get pulled?
Heritage has more pull here than Superior. Superior got beaten to death in that Beepy thread, legal threats and all, and PCGS never pulled the plug on it.
I was reading the first page of that thread and went away to do some work. When I returned, the second page was gone. But I returned to the first page and saved a copy of the first page. Anyone what a copy????
Nope, despite all you conspiritorial theorists having a field day, the thread was not appropriate for the board in light of the fact that the author had not appeared to have contacted Heritage to rectify this alleged situation. To come here blasting, threatening legal action, etc. etc. etc. without having made any attempt to even contact the auction house makes this a non-issue IMHO.

If you pulled all the threads where somebody did that, the only thing left here would be posts about Gold Buffalos.

What about poor Anaconda--they have been roasted and toasted here to BeeJeesus!
<< <i>If there was a switch, could it have happened at PCGS? >>
I asked the question on "Quality1's" thread, not throwing stones at PCGS, just wondering with the volume of coins being graded could a mistake be made in sending coin back.
Did HRH order the "code red"? I want the truth! >>
You want the truth? You really want the truth?
Can you handle the absolute truth?
OK, I last time I spoke face to face with HRH was in 1982 and exchanged PMs in 2003.
Rgarding the other flaming threads, I didn't see them, this one I did..........and Superior sends me their coin catalogs, Heritage doesn't. So if you want to get theoretical about it, Superior has more pull with me than Heritage. LOL

If that's your answer, then I can't handle the truth.
I'm not surprised. Newb with 10 posts and a hidden profile tosses out a pretty wild accusation against a major reputable auction house. Makes perfect sense it would be nuked.

I understand SM's opinion that the thread might not have belonged in the US Coin Forum. Then move it to the Open Forum. Just because someone comes blasting a PCGS customer doesn't mean you need to run to their aid. Like others have said, there are plenty of dealers on here that have gotten bashed with false accusations, including Anaconda, and nothing has happened. To the best of my knowledge, Quality1 never said if he had contacted Heritage or not. The best part of the thread was Greg showing up and making a statement. If nothing else, having that posted shows his concern for the problem and good PR. If everyone was piling on Heritage, I get that. This was not the case.

A good question. I know a local dealer who swears the other large TPG pulled a switcheroo on him!

No. The orangutan spoke.
