Looks like strike doubling as opposed to a doubled die. BIG DIFFERENCE!

With all the pictures, it MUST be a DDO! I'm bidding.

Bingo!! Just another scammer preying on the uninformed. The coin is worth $5 tops.......and that's pushing it.

well dont ya think if it was an authentic ddo `69 1c it would be in a top tier holder? its raw because its not worth the cost of slabbing
    in the first place.

This seller just sold an altered 1937-D 3 leg for $1200 last week. I reported it to ebay for all the good that did.

The seller seemed miffed by my request for images of a genuine 1969-S DDO since the one in his listing was not. I suspect he received many such requests. Claims he is trying to cancel the auction, but needs to get his listing fee reversed (why he should get his listing fee back for his own mistake I do not know.)

That is really sad- bidding on the 40 cent coin is over $100

Man---people just love to give their money away.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

Doesn't the REAL one have a much greater spread in the doubling?

Manorcourtman - What should I look out for today.A white elephant ?

This coin is OK as it is an example of strike doubling. It seems to be a better deal than a Proof 70 Gold Buffalo.

A REAL 1969 s DDO in full red gem condition is clearly worth in the multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars.
