Invalid Cert Number

I decided to enter my set into the registry here and found out that one of my coins has a supposed invalid certification number. It is a 2000-S Silver Kennedy Half (PR69DCAM) cert number 71004268. The coins is worth $35 retail, this is clearly not a fake... it has to be a mistake by PCGS somehow.

Any idea on what I can do to get this fixed or resolved? Do I have to resubmit maybe?

take a picture of both sides of the coin (the entire slab w/ cert #) and then email it to PCGS customer service. I can't remember the gals email address to save my life so hopefully someone will post it shortly! I have had to do this several times with my sets to get the cert #'s unlocked from other people's sets. Hope this helps!

Cosetta is great help with these little registry issues. She helped me straighten out a sf quarter that showed up as a bs coin. Very nice lady to deal with.

Great person to deal with. To bad that the rest of the customer service staff wasn't more like her.image

Since Ryan didn't say that he got the "in use" error, maybe it really is invalid. I had a Dime like that once. It was in a range that started with 5 I think. I had to have it redone, but it was free since it was their error. I took it to a show and had it done there so I didn't have to pay any postage.

Hope you get it fixed soon.

Is the coin number 96913.69/cert. number. If it is not that the coin may be in the data base as something else.

Is Cosetta still around? I have three modern commem half dollars with the same issue. They come back with an invalid cert #.
