price of a sweedish 10 ore, 1874

my brother gave me a bunch of coins to look at, most have low/melt value, but Ive seen mixed opinions on this guy and want to make sure.
someone doublecheck me if you have a lonely moment ?

I get about $10/15 in f/vf.. not sure why the value would be that high, it's a little guy

CV in the 4th ed. 19th century Krause in VF is $20.

I doin't know why they're pricey, either, with a mintage of 2.8 million. 1874 is the cheapest date for KM#737. They must have melted them all down in a recoinage?

I think the Krause value for Swedish coins is on the high side.

I don't believe there were any huge meltings of this coin but these were
heavily circulated. Typical examples were worn to good and higher grade
coins are not especially common. There used to be a lot of low grade
pieces in poundage but they aren't seen as much anymore.

Their VF is about equivalent to our XF so you might want to look for the
F price.
