Russ should write a book on the Kennedy Silver Short Set; who agrees?

I saw a Russ reply posted today in which he, in summary, stated that he does not pay much attention transactions for post 1970 Kennedies.

He obviously concentrates on the 64-70 Silver Kennedy Short set; and has a wealth on knowledge on the subject. 7 years of coins. 8 proofs and SMS coins (including the 64 AH variety) which can be brilliant, CAM and DCAM gives 24 total possible coins. Toss in the 67 SMS birthmark coin in brilliant, CAM and DCAM and you are now up to 27 coins. Toss in the MS 64D, 64P, 68D, 69D and 70D and we are now up to 32 coins.
(other lesser known varieties for 64-70 silvers exist but exclude those to keep the number at 32).

Not too many coins to learn about and I am sure Russ knows quite a bit about them. How about an effort by forumites to get Russ to write a book (or an article) about the 64-70 Kennedy Silver Short Set?

I suggest we draft him (I have suggested the same for Cladking but thus far have had no luck). What say you all?

Russ has tons of knowledge about those coins, and he's earned it. He'd be a natural if you could get him to spill it.

Thats flattering, but it would be far too narrow in focus for a book to have any kind of market.

Forget the idea of a book, just do an article and share your knowledge with forumite denizens for free. Sort of a public service that will earn more or our awe, repsect and reverence.

I would only pay $0.50 for such a book. However, the payment would be an AH half.

A book can be overwhelming. An article would be great. The period of 1964 through 1970 was some of the best, most controversial, and worst for numismatics. Many facts are known, many are waiting to be discovered. Of course, Russ wants to know how spending time writing an article is going to help pay the rent.
