Yes--It's got to be worth much more than an ordinary red Lincoln 1955 DD!! LOL---guess I should have bought that one from Rick Snow that looked 67 for $900!!!!

Of course the $99K the seller is asking is completely ridiculous. However, if he were to run this no reserve, it would likely bring north of $10K. Anybody who bought these early on has seen a HUGE return on their purchase. And, from day one, plenty of people were ridiculing those who did.

as much as i hate these kind of quasi-errors, it's hard to argue that this example will probably prove to be a good item as time passes. it seems to have grabbed hold of the non-collecting community with hopes of finding a diamond in the rough, not to say how it grabbed lots of mainstream collectors/dealers. however, like Russ said it's crazynutsyougottabekidding at $100k, much like those pissing minuteman quarters.

i can't help but think that a guy like Rick Snow is holding the best looking coin, in/out of a holder, so i doubt the pop 1/top pop status is safe forever.

I bought 2 of each in 66 when they were first found. If they ever get in the Registry, I think they could be homerun type coins. Remember the 55/55 Lincolns were like $150-$200 back in the fifties too-- and now look.
