Which Holder do you like better for Presentation and Storage?

PCGS,NGC,ICG,ANACS and why?

PCGS or old ANACS. Much easier to image the coins than NGC. The new ANACS is easy to image, but the slab is cheesy. ICG slabs are seriously prone to developing smudges and scrapes that cannot be polished out. Far worse than any others. Take a look at some ICG coins on Teletrade. The crap you see all over them is not on the coins themselves.

There's only one slab that's worth a hoot. And that's SEGS. All others are junk....period.

PCGS is my number one choice of slab, especially now that they've cleaned up the insert a bit. NGC is a close second.

Their newer presentations are attractive.
Although small coins get lost in NGC slabs but some toned Morgans take on a pretty appeal within their holders. I also appreciate the clearer, almost glass-like plastic NGC is now using. Cameo coins and colorful copper take on a new appreciation within the holder. The font is also more eye appealing than the older styles.

I sure wish Dealers would appreciate that collectors like their holders to be cared for. I see too many dealers simply tossing slabs around scuffing them up and hairlining the plastic. Is it just me?

For aesthetic quality, I prefer PCGS by far.

I agree with Jerry about SEGS, but for engineering only, not eye appeal of the slab.

PCGS,

Easy to image, matches all of my other slabs, feels solid in hand, light compared to NGC.

ANACs old slabs close second. I like the small size.

no brainer pcgs slabs the post 1995 ones kept in the older both sides copper inpregnated intercept shield bags that seal airtight

then you got the best of both worlds

It's ok Russ we can have SEGS added, I forgot all about them. I may even own a coin or two in a segs holder smoewhere around here.

From a presentation/design point of view I love SEGS, far and away the best designed slab.

I like Intercept Shield 2 x 2 holders...nice presentation and storage, plus I can remove the coin at any time with no added cost to put it back!

I like the PCGS slab.

This is why:

1. Not distracting when viewing coins in it.
2.Well designed
3. Easy to image
4. Not cheesy looking
