Sorry about the reverse pic I can't get my camera to focus past the holder scuffs. It is in an old PCI holder, and thought I would see if your opinions matched.

Clean fields and shoulder. A few hits on the reverse rim. Is the scratch above the seven on the holder? I'll go 65.

It also looks like there's a hit on the obverse rim between God and We, but maybe that's in the plastic. I'd say its a strong 65.

I agree. Strong 65. Has a shot at 66. The color helps.

It resides in a PCI 64 rd holder. Should I try for an upgrade?

    Absolutely go for it!
I had a PCI MS63 R/B with attractive bright pumpkin orange color and a soft green portrait cross, in the holder, to PCGS MS63 RED just a few weeks ago. I paid $225. for it at Long Beach the last go around and then spent the $20. to get it holdered PCGS. I think it's definitely worth what I paid and thensome.

Yours looks like it might upgrade, based on you photos, a couple of points.

I had the exact same coin in a Hallmark (pre-PCI) green holder graded 64RD. It crossed to PCGS
w/o a problem, but a field hit kept it at 64.

This coin is clearly better and you should consider cracking it out.

I'm very surprised PCI was that conservative. Crack it.

If that's how the coin looks(no discoloration in the fields), I don't see how you could go wrong cracking it and sending it in.

    I'm glad I didn't respond saying I thought PCI graded it 66RD! That's what I was thinking!

    Nice Lincolnimage
