I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I imagine they could have used worse pictures, but they would have needed to work hard at getting them.

    Those are pretty bad.
  • I HAVE A NGS MS-62 OF THIS SIMILAR COIN...
NOW IT'S ON PCGS, SHOULD I HAVE IT CROSSED-OVER?????

I wonder if they will now recognize the more dramatic 2005 Bison and OIV DDOs????

I hope they will and recognize at minimum the different Type I, II, III of each as all are different dies showing varying degree of the DDO.

Why the hell would they slab a DDO coin that is labeled as such, with the Reverse of the coin facing the front?
  • I agree it seems odd that a DDO would be slabbed with the reverse on the front. In fact, DDO - or not - I thought it odd that they did reverse forward on any of the WJ nickels. I expect the obverse on the front of the holder.

I also agree that if PCGS will recognize the 2004 5c DDO, then they should also recognize the 2005 DDOs - at least the stronger DDO versions. I have both the 2004 Peace Medal 5c DDO and the 2005 "Type 1" Bison. The doubling on the Bison nickel is more dramatic and easier to spot. Plus, the die gouge marker on the forehead makes it easy to identify.
