Very nice. I too am attempting a Buffalo set and this coin makes me drool with envy. Do you have other images of your collection?

I believe this coin cost more than the new car I bought two years ago... and it may not even be close...

That's an UNUSUALLY well struck reverse for that date and mint! I'm still looking as well. The 23-S I currently have is only an AU-53 because it is so much better struck than anything I've found so far! Now if my budget is in the thousands of dollars range (ie. new car), maybe I could buy the 23-S of my dreams.

Your right the reverse well stuck for a 23s and if anyone can find one in an ms65 pcsg holder I'll pay top dollar. image

    Check the rim for tooling........

That Mintmark does not look kosher...........

ALWAYS check the rim for embossed mintmarks.........

That said, sometimes strike or hammer position either high or low when impressing a mintmark at the mint may distort it.

can somebody link the heritage ngc65 in the upcoming long beach auction, lot#834. i feel youll find this heritage coin has an equal strike as the one caitlen shows. of course the only chance youll get this in a pcgs65 holder is to crack and send this coin to pcgs raw.
