Am I too vain?

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,593 ✭✭✭✭✭
Just got these back from being reholdered at NGC. These are the two rarest coins I own. The mintage for these is about ten. One of these days I'll get the PF63 coin professionally imaged.

image The first photo does not leave much room for improvement. Is the 64RB an upgrade?

edited:just saw that the pro-image was intended for the second only. image I would have opted for one service each, after asking for a pedigree from PCGS too.

The first photo is fine. The second photo sucks. I bought the PF64 RB first, then picked up the PF63 RB later. Sold the PF63 RB to someone and then bought it back recently. So I figure I own 2 out of the 10 or so coins in exsistance.

ajaan: I think that it's great to have your favorite collection coins professionally imaged so that you can share them with others looking their best!!

Especially, when they are as rare as your two British Proof Coppers posted earlier in this thread.

I would venture a WAG that the year has a significant meaning for you that made the rare coin even more special to warrant the pedigree. image

Heck no! It's only natural for one to display coins with his grandson's birthyear on them.
