Coin Shows on Mother's Day?

I'm sure EVERYHONE knows that this Sunday is Mother's Day. Where I'm at there is a coin show, a gun show, very large outdoor flea market on that same day. Now here is my question. Which one would be appropriate to ask a Mom to go to? Or whould it be in the best interest to just have a home Bar-B-Que? Anone taking thier Mom to a restaurant?

You thinking of treating Mom to lunch at the Park Place of Countryside Banquet Hall? Have her meet you there at 11:30. That'll give you a couple hours of bourse time.

"Mom, I have a great surprise for you! Instead of picking out a present for you that you might not really want, we're going to go to a huge flea market and give you $100 to pick out anything you want!..."

"Here we are, Mom. I need to pick up a couple of things too, so instead of you having to tail along with me, how about if we meet back here at 4 o'clock? Here's your $100 to shop with, see you at 4!..."

<carl walks in the opposite direction from Mom, waits 10 minutes, then runs back to the car and drives like a maniac to the coin show>

Don't forget to pick her back up at 4! image

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Sundays are disappointing days for most shows anyway (low dealer turnout), so unless you don't like your mom, stay home and barbecue!
