Have either one of those "blessed" by PCGS or NGC, and I'm interested in adding one to my collection, if they're available, and price dependent.
Hey John, I remember when all you would buy were just PCGS slabbed coins. NGC too? You better have some more Kool Aid. Quick. Or you'll be looking at third world slabs in no time.
There are coins, whether they are Peace Dollars or Morgan Dollars, Lincoln pennies or Washington quarters, etc. etc. that are just simply and beyond obviously AT'd. Those are the ones that get BB'd every time and you can spot a mile away. Then there are those that are questionable and can be tough to determine without a fair amount of expertise. And then there are those that are "no brainer" obvious original gems that are as authentic as the shining sun. The TPG's are here to do the absolute best job they can to help the collectors and dealers make the right decisions on what is real and what is fabricated. They do a superb job at this and I would say that the confidence in them can easily be proven over the past many weeks, months, and years just by taking a look at the number of collectors and dealers in this hobby that just love to devour these toned gems. That said, of course there are going to be the occasional "slider" that may slip through the cracks from time to time. But as I've mentioned before, those "dogs" are usually brought to the attention of the masses (i.e. this forum) and not an issue any way. I will, as I'm sure a few others will, continue to feel confident in buying toned beauties that are slabbed by the TPG's. But of course, even so, one must be savvy enough to determine for themself what is original, and what may not be.
...and after all didn't NGC realize their mistake and remove the coin from their holder. No one is perfect despite the opinions of some board members. That said this a post to view some of our favorite peace dollars and not beat a dead horse.

Actually, I think it means more than ever before. ...And will continue to gain significant importance as time goes on.

That's a beauty. How much you want for her. Oh, can you get it into an NGC or PCGS holder first?

I have to wait until I can find an old crusty envelope.

Something tells me he'd have a pretty easy time with NGC, if he can come up with a good story

You forgot to tell me that... and you'll have to get in line behind the others who have told me they've been waiting patiently
<< <i>Here's my only Peace with half decent color
Tim, you shouldn't dare say it has color, apparently that's a path you don't want to go down.
Nice Peace BTW.
