Does anyone have good blowups of a Zerbe die 1921?
I've acquired what I think to be an example, but the usual online resources are a little shy about clear pics of the die markers. The recut T seems to be there, as are the quadrupled stars. I can't tell if what I see is the proper die break at the U, but there are a lot of die polishing lines in the area. It doesn't appear to have the horizontal polishing line between the legs, and I haven't checked for the rest of the VAM 47 markers. Can't post pics yet - it's in acetone right now (
), but I will when it comes out. Kinda sucks - it's clearly PL and a hellacious strike for a '21 - but it'll probably bodybag for a mark on the reverse.
Does anyone have HQ shots of an example they're willing to waste bandwidth on?

Also, there seems to be one more marker that is being noticed, the "A" in States has a break in the lft leg at the crossbar - I have seen it on 3 so far.
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
Mine has the 17 berries and the scratched arrowhead - will include pics later, still at work.

Wow! What a strike!
I've seen worse in PCGS MS64 holders.
It looks like a few small denticle bites. The milk-spotting is normal for 1921s as you know and the dark spot on the reverse could be called "toning".
If I only had a dollar for every VAM I have...err...nevermind...I do!!
