Opinions on these pics
Below are images I have photographed using two different methods for each of the two coins. The top image is using direct light, and the bottom images is using light diffused through a white, circular, i'm-not-sure-what-you-call-it material photographers use. I'd like your opinion on what you believe to be the better of the two images or if you like both or neither. Any advice on how these might be improved? I have not altered these images in any way other than crop them and make them a smaller size. Thanks!

<< <i>I like the diffused images, but the contrast is a little washed out for my tastes on them. Do you have any way to use a little less diffusion? Sometimes putting the diffusion material closer to the lamps will help that also. >>
Any better?

<< <i>I prefer the diffuse light images...especially for your gold. I can detect every bit of the detail and I don't see the harsh reflection.

That's the way I'm leaning too. Hopefully more collectors will give me their opinion as well.

<< <i>Wow, I really like the diffused light photographs. Actually I like both sets -- one shows the luster, the other the detail. Great photos!...Mike >>
Thanks Mike!
I really appreciate all the help you have made available to me. Especally your own advice!
mgoodm3, a big thanks to you as well!

The directly lighted pix make the coins appear richer in color and texture to me, but the bottom, diffused light, photos show more details! If I were a potential buyer of either coin, I'd prefer the 2nd, diffused pix, so I could see more details.
Just my 2¢ worth!
