Here is a slab you don't see very often

Just picked this up recently on Yahoo, According to conder101 this would have been slabbed between 87 and 92.

Doesn't look PL to me, but I like tea-stain rim toning. Might be a VAM-10 (R-5).

That's because they both used the same shells, from Accugrade.

I'd agree she does'nt look PL IMO too. In fact I would call this coin MS63 but the superior luster and strong strike might carry it to 4 land. My VAM book only goes to VAM7, what are the markers for VAM10?

As conder101 just posted it is the same shell, I now have one example of ACG, PCI, and now ING in this style of holder.

Does that INS slab ensure that the Morgan pictured was born in America or at least has a Visa/Green Card?image

I like that holder and I like that coin, but PLEASE PLEASE do not try to cross it over to PCGS because a whole bunch of little lemming like things may tell you to do so.

Not a chance, heck the slab is more rare than the coin.image Besides I think PCGS would grade it as an MS63 which is likely why its still in this slab.

Thanks for the markers for a VAM10 Coxe, I see what is very slight doubling in those areas but very very slight even under 7X loop. Could be a very early die state example.
