Maybe not 'big time" but I do still collect the old gal.

Have a nice complete set in an album--But big time NO!

WACoinGuy · April 23, 2006 11:59AM

I'm not big time either, but I did just add a type-2 1981-S to complete my set...

numonebuyer · April 23, 2006 12:06PM

I have owned three complete (including 79 and 81 type 2) sets in the past.

I have no interest in SBA dollars, but I did stumble across this. I love numismatic ephemora and thought somebody might go for this.

FYI: I'm not the seller nor do I know him.

morgannut2 · April 23, 2006 12:15PM

Thanks For the link sir-- Unfortunately the seller has a "hidden reserve" so when I bid $12.00 + $5 shipping no sale. I hate hidden bids--I wish people would just post a buy price--yes or no--or have a real auction!

Coinosaurus · April 23, 2006 12:16PM

That is a really cool item. There can't be many of these around......of course the SBA is still one fugly coin!

BILLZACH · April 23, 2006 12:20PM

do you remember this one, i think i posted a picture of it last year...

Much better than the original, Bill.

That's bushleague! I even thought of throwing a bid when it didn't show a reserve.

Barndog · April 23, 2006 10:50PM

The seller's insurance amount will give you a good idea what his reserve is.
