He just can not stay healthy now, I heard he freakin injured himself swinging a bat before the Dodgers season opener and is on the 15 day DL, Im glad the Sox got rid of him.......I wish him well though.

    He has been snakebit since that trade, actually since the beginning of the 2003 season. Remember when, just a few years ago, people considered him and Tejada the best shortstops in the AL? Now, it seems like he'll never get his career going again.

    He's finished... he'll never be fully recovered... it was a good run while it lasted. Smart move by Boston unloading him originally. He will be quickly forgotten and fade out of the picture.

    Nomar was suspect for injuries in his late Bosox days. Is he injured or just a hypocondriac? Either way, it's getting tired. He is no Jeter or Arod - wuss. Regards.

    O.K., so he can swim. The lady he saved should be thankful that Nomar didn't get a cramp or something, as he would have let her go and said he needed a break or something. That may be a little harsh, as in a life or death situation he may overcome his softness.

    Nomar=perfect steroid candidate, hence the breakdowns. OR

    Nomar=somebody who personifies lack of pain tolerance, well he and Mark Prior. OR

    Nomar=somebody who thinks the world will end just because they 'feel' something somewhere, well he and Mark Prior.

    He'll make a comeback eventually. It took Griffey a few years to finally play almost a full year when he got hit by the injury bug.

    Nomar is a first class jerk. All you had to do was see him against the Yankees a few years back. Close game, important series, every player on the edge of their seats cheering and rooting for each other, and Nomar was in the bottom of the dugout, by himself, sulking. I dont think its any secret he isnt well liked by his teammates, which is more telling than anything else.
