Well I'm not an expert on Wings, But to take a stab.... The small picture on the left a MS66 and the larger on the right a MS65. I have read most of the "Merc guys" threads and there is a lot less tit for tat and you all really do seem to have a good time. Have a great weekend image

Well, I am instantly suspicious that the coins are the same. But they look to be different. I also know the limit to my ability to grade is encountered pretty fast and even faster when I am looking at scans. But, in an effort to perhaps knock a poll off the first page, let me comment that the coin on the right seems to have some nicks on the cheek. I don't think it's planchet roughness, so I'll guess they are actually are nicks, which should downgrade the coin a bit. Though I am worried if there is a fingerprint on the coin on the left, I think I like it better. So, let me say the left coin is a 65 and the right one is a 64. And, I promise that my grades are accurate to + or - 20 points.

If the one on the left has no "rub" that can't be seen in the scan, I'd say that it's a 66.
The one on the right, no better than a 63!
It would be easier to compare if they were the same size. image
Just the same, thanks for the quiz, Ken! image

It's tough to grade from photos, but the one on the left looks 64-65ish to me, and the one on the right a 62 or 63, due to what appears to be marks on the cheek and neck. If those marks are on the holder, it might go 64. The one on the right also seems to be a better strike. Does it have full bands?

Just went and looked, and the one on the right is the MS63FB that is in your set! imageimage

So is the one on the left a lower grade, or is it a possible upcoming upgrade?!? image

    Good Morning:
Like I said this was a Feeble Attempt to Get something up on the Forumn besides Poll's.
The Dime on the Left is a 64FB coin that I pulled from a eBay Auction to compare to the 63FB Coin which Don went into My set and found.
Jim picked up the thing that I did not like about the 64FB coin. It has the Typical weak Strike around the Rim area both on the Obverse and Reverse. Both look like they have been Dipped to me and neither should grade above 63 IMO.
As making a Up-Grade with the Dime on the Left,No Way, the one on the Right is more Appealing to Me.
              Have a Nice Day: Ken

I just noticed this thread. Sorry for being late, but I like the one on the right better also. The one on the left is a weak strike and has no eye appeal. I don't know how it got a 64.
