2006 Proof Sets 2 for 4

Went 2 for 4 in the proof sets I got from the mint.

One set had a huge scratch on the Quarter, another had a big nick in the dime.

On the other hand, two were VERY nice !

How did you fare ?

    4 for 4.
    They screwed me last year and I had to do a few send backs, so I checked already. All 4 were great examples.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    3 for 3, mine were all nice.

    0 for 5. I just was not impressed and sent them back. Maybe the next batch will fare better. Oh yeah, the North Dakota bison will be tough in the business strike if the proof sets are anything to just by.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    I was 1 for 2 - The Kennedy half had a HUGE gouge behind his head - sent it back - I haven't done that before so I hope they replace it without too much delay.

    Sent both of mine back for replacements. Kennedy and bison were scratched

    This might be a stupid question but what does the Mint do with the returned sets, send them to other customers?

    I ordered one set. I hope it's a nice one!

    Luckily went 2 for 2.

    I am surprised at the horrible packing job.

    I got 2 proof sets 5 quarter sets, and a few other things, banged all around. Very loosly packed.

    O well.

    Really? All my stuff is pretty tightly packed.
    I get the airbags. I get everything stacked and put together.

    Never a problem with the packaging.

    Wow. My was packed awful. Maybe they knew it was my 1st order. They must have been out to impress me.

    It was a $300 order, which to me is a whole lot.

    O well, the one mint set box looked a little beat, like it was put together by a child, but the contents inside were nice.

    I was just shocked.

    Maybe the FEDEX guy was mad at me?

    I got my Return to Monticello first day cover yesterday

    and the two coins looked like they walked back to Monticello.

    They're not even mint set nickels.

    I received my set today. No complaints here about the quality.

    The nickel design is excellent in proof.
