To the die variety collectors in this forum...

Just this past weekend I visited with Frank Baumann - some of you may know him, others will find his name to credit in most of the die variety books. Frank is one of the "fathers" of the die variety market, a die variety hunter for longer than some of us have been alive. Frank had a debilitating stroke a few years back, and since has been unable to return to coins. His mind simply won't allow him to remember and function with the minute detail required for die varieties.
To that end, I picked up his inventory this past weekend and brought it home with me. I am systematically pulling it apart, reholdering it, and listing it for sale on my sales site, lincolncent.com, and all of the proceeds - 100% of the sales - are going directly back to Frank and his wife, who are on a very limited income and have health issues and a mound of bills to pay. Neither can work, and what little the government gives them is all they have. He had all of these coins - thousands of dollars worth - but neither of them know how to sell them. That's where I come in. I can sell them. Where you come in is to go over to lincolncent.com and search around for the blue descriptions, and buy what you need for your collection. I have changed the program on the site to list all of Frank's coins, and Frank's coins only, in BLUE to make them easier to identify for those wanting to help this situation.
I am happy to report that I put 50 coins up for sale there today, the first day, announced they were available to the folks who frequent my forum, and to this point 48 of the 50 have already sold...but there are thousands more. Enough that I will be on volunteer time a couple of hours every day for the next three months (or more) listing coins for sale.
So that's it...just letting you know that a legend's coins are being made available to the public. This is important to me because Frank means a lot to me. He was my mentor in this industry and taught me most of what I know about coins. Now I am repaying my debt to him by helping him with selling off his inventory.
I just thought to add, he didn't just do cents...there are nickels, dimes and quarters in this bunch too. Just keep watching.

They are going on lincolncent.com. Like I said, I listed 50 this morning, and 48 of them are gone now. Only two left are a couple of 1961D RPMs. I have another 50 going on in the morning.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
I REALLY appreciate all the support here. You guys sure mean a lot to Frank - he was always really generous and kind to the industry...and now it's coming back to him.
