    After receiving my first sizable submission back from NGC, I also recently learned that NGC does not give you a free box, instead you get crappy cardboard dividers. image

    Actually both will hold the old ANACS holders, but they don't fit well and will be loose in the box.
    CoinWorld sells holders to make ANACS slabs "normal" size

    Gotta love PCGS, anything more than 5 or 6 gets a free box. Unfortunately I have 30 or 40 boxes I don't know what to do with now. image

    And the damn NGC slabs won't fit in 'em!! image

    Make sure you get the new style SILVER NGC boxes, which are a little taller than the old style boxes. Some of the earliest NGC holders do not fit as well in the old brown boxes.

    It makes no sense to me to buy Coin World plastic to make ANACS fit nicely in NGC boxes. ANACS holders fit much more compactly in two by two cardboard boxes.
    I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    I am kinda of anal when it comes to looks and storage. Even though service is sometimes a little lacking and the grading is rarely but sometimes questionable I get everything done at PCGS. If they both had the same holder I might mix it up a little but thats what I get for being picky. I have probably missed out on some fantastic coins in NGC slabs. I just know it is hard to cross sometimes.

    I have used BaseBall Card slip covers over the ANACS holders and this works just fine in the NGC boxes. The slips are cheap also.

    In fact I use the slips on all of the slabs for protection from scratching and rub marks
