1858 Flying Eagle, Small Letters, Closed E, But Are My Leaves Low?

I was comparing my FE Cent to others to compare the grade, and learned about Open E and Closed E (mine is closed), and about low and high leaves. I have looked at on-line sales of both, and have not spotted the difference to attribute mine. Can anyone help?

    Brian,

Looks as if you have a type II reverse which is the 1858 SL Low leaves, closed E. As far as value difference rick or Brain wagner, Lakes would have to comment on that, as I dont know

Looks like you have the low leaf. No real price difference but they are fun to collect. Nice looking coin. image

    Thanks.

Today it is an MS64 holder, but packed up for try at an upgrade. After seeing some total dogs in PCGS MS64 holders, it is clearly worth the price of a try considering the price increase!
