3 QUESTIONS only...coneca... ebay...paypal***# 2 #3 answered...
I submitted a coin to dr. Wiles to be attributed and listed in the coneca files...well , he sent me a letter congratulating me and gave it a designation of 1913-S/S rpm # 1 early die state.
first question....how long does it usually take for the listing to appear on the web site? ( my thoughts are that more people would look for this variety...IF they knew it existed!)
second question...i seldom sell on ebay, and i don't have a paypal account ...is it possible to be paid buy an auction winner that has a paypal account?
third question... if not...do i need to get a paypal account to en-able more potential buyers?
help me out here ...pros? cons?
thanks...mike
now on with the silliness!

1) Dunno
2) Yes somebody could send a PayPal payment to your email address. You would be notified and invited to join PayPal to accept it. Until you join, it sits in limbo.
3) Yes. But it will still be free until you accept $1,000 a month. Then it's 2.9% + 30c per transaction

Not if you take a credit card--then it's fees on all transactions. And on eBay, you can no longer refuse credit cards--all paypal payments, or no paypal at all.
thanks guys
anyone have a clue when coneca will update their site?
Mike, it may take several months to see it on the website. At least that has been my earlier experience. I was under the impression that Mr. Wiles was not doing attributions at this time for whatever reasons. I'll tell you, it's doubtful I'll be a Coneca member for much longer as a result. The Bi-Monthly magazine is nearly 100% error facts. The variety folks are getting the short end of the stick lately.
<< <i>Hey MO! How about a picture? >>
i'll try to get one up in a day...
when i called mr. Wiles he said he was curious about it... and would like to see it because it was an early date that no previously known rpm was known in... and when i told him it was an early die state ...he said ..."send it"
he said it was an important find ...because of the info above.
