New seated proof quarter

Just picked this up. The obverse is a little darker than I like, but reverse is really good looking. Both sides have an almost iridescent blue-green toning on the devices. What do you think?

Since you ask - I really don't like it. If the picture is correct, looks stripped and then color enhanced. Sorry. Is it holdered ?

Looks like a nice one. Pics look a bit contrast enhanced.

It's a raw coin. The colors look that way from using strong light in a soft box and a clear glass reflector in front of the lens. It's difficult to get the toning to show up against the mirrored surfaces. The only post processing is some levels adjustment and USM.

The contrast may relate to the lighting. You get some low angle direct lighting along with the lighting off of the glass.

If that picture is accurate I don't really like it.....

Now seeing it in hand might be a different story, looks like a very difficult coin to get a picture of.....

Try a pic with direct blue light. You'll lose the mirrors a bit, but get a truer picture of how the coin looks.

But seriously, I DO like it - and knowing how harsh photography can be on coins, it's probably spectacular "in hand"

Real nice Seated Quarter.
Makes me almost wanta assemble the 600 or so I have into some sort of collection or other.
You gotta be careful buying these Seated Quarters. It's easy to get hooked on them.

Very attractive Proof Seated Quarter. I think it looks super. My best guess on the grade is pr64. Nice photos too.
