5 year anniversary thread, favorite forum thread titles

The anniversary month is almost over, but alas this is my favorite subject: forum thread titles.

Thread titles suck you in even if you could care less about the subject. Remember, on the forum there's
a formula to a great post: 60 percent is your thread title, 30 percent is how many friends you have here,
and 10 percent is what the thread is actually about.

Just kidding, sort of

What I find to be distressing is that so many fantastic and valuable threads have been relegated to the useless class of "archived", forever lost to interactive instructive capability.

The sadest part is how hard they are to find in the archives, even if you remember them. PCGS should have one of their moderators
tag special threads to an archive forum.

I agree with you that a lot of valuable info has been posted and lost here forever. Other forums archive informative threads, I've made
posts about this in the past.

You may still retrieve threads from the archives, you simply cannot edit or post to them anymore. In that sense, the only threads that have been lost are the ones from our previous net home at PCGS.
