2006 Franklin chronicle set 3/11/06

Just checked on my Franklin order and it shows 3/11 for ship date on the Chronicle set.

Let's hope so.

I ordered a bunch of different Franklin products and the date has changed before now. Some went to Feb but then moved back to April

What gives

I dont think the federal government can deviate from the published date of availability, even if they wanted to.
It's a web-quirk, in any complex system, error happen.

Actually, they can set a delivery date way the heck down the line and then deliver any time before that date. This way they are not in violation of FTC regulations regarding the late shipment of mail order merchandise. If they can't ship by the promised delivery date they are required by law to offer you the opportunity to cancel the order at no cost to you. If they meet the delivery date, no matter how late it was set at the time of the sale, they do not have to make that offer.

My coins are still in precessing with expected shipping date 4/30/2006. I ordered:

10 - Ben Franklin "SCIENTIST" SLVR UNC COIN
5 - Ben Franklin "FOUNDING FATHER" SLVR PRF
5 - Ben Franklin "FOUNDING FATHER" SLVR UNC

I am still trying to decide if I should keep them on order or should cancel. We will be moving about that time and don't want them getting delivered to the wrong place.

i have 3 seperate orders in for the franklins, all small orders, one order is one of each proof, one order for 1 cronicles, and one order of 5 proofs and 2 uncirc. of both styles(total 14 coins). the first 2 smaller orders say 3/11/06 but the 14 coin order still says 4/30/06.

I would try to make sure you still order these as the prices through e-bay etc, will be at least twice what the mint is charging... see if the mint can ship to a relatives or friends house.

only possible that mint ship out the Chronicle set before april , that is without 4 new stamps set. because stamp set wound release until april.

Yep, everything is listed as 3/11/06. I'm not holding my breath until those little cancel boxes go away. When that happens they are on the way!!

It would be nice if we got the chronicle set, with the stamps, before the offical release at the Post Office.
