Sweden's Royal Coin Cabinet

I only spent 20 minutes in this museum, but they had nice displays. This is adjacent to the Royal Palace in Stockholm Sweden.

I've been there and the coins are even better than they look in those photos, believe it or not!

  • Nice.
One of these days I'll get to look at them too.
Are those cabinets vertical or horizontal?
It sorta looks like they glued them to the back.

    Vertical.

I just watched my video from Rome. The camcorder did an excellent job getting crispy clean close ups of the coins in one of the museums there. Need to learn how to send the video (digital tape camcorder) to the computer.

Most are vertical. They use pins to support the coins on the backing. It's safe enough.

The museum is spectacular and the coins are even better. The only problem is the lighting.
