Free software for cropping coin pictures

My computer crashed, so I now have a new computer. Lost my Adobe Photoshop software on the computer. And can't find my disks to reinstall anywhere in the house.

Can anyone recommend a free, downloadable software similar to Photoshop? Espeically one that crops photos?

Sure.

I had a problem with GIMP. After I downloaded it, an error stated that it would not work correctly with hyper-threading computers. But Fastone is working good.
