  Pretty for private issue pieces. The name of that company sounds strangely familiar.

  I have a few of these pieces . Do not know how many 'topics' this company produced . As for a timeline in coins (or other collectibles) when you see a one or two digit number for a city , it is circa 1963/64 . Transition year(s) to our current 5 digit zip code . example- I lived in Hartford 14 Conn . It became Hartford 06114 CT.

  They were a very significant series of medals. They were first issued in 1959, were stering silver, had competent if somewhat predictable designs, and kicked off the series medal craze that would be best remembered by the Franklin Mint issues. I don't recall just how many medals there were in this set, but the number was substantial. Like all silver medals of this period, their numbers have been thinned by melting.

  Heraldic Art Company was a private and very prolific issuer in Cleveland for quite a while. i run across their medals from time to time, some are very beautiful and well executed.
