  I dont ever get coin gifts. I have asked not to receive them though. As much as I would love to receive any coin gift, my family does not know anything about numismatics and I am afraid they would get ripped off.

  I usually get gift certificates to my local coin dealer. This past Christmas, however, I received a 4 each set of uncut 1's, 5's, 10's and 20 dollar bills. They weren't coins, but I was very impressed and touched that my grandfather would think of me that way.

  I get gifts, but I always buy them in the first place.....

  I don't usually get anything in the way of coins for gifts. However, I recently helped a boy scout get his badge in coin collecting and he is making Eagle Scout soon. His mom told us that they are going to have a party so I got him a 2006 ASE.

  I got my wife to think coins for Christmas the first time this year and she came though with a pair of 96 Kennedys in 67 from PCGS. It's a start.

  Dad gave me a 1998 SMS Kennedy in PCGS 70 one year for my birthday.
  And the wife found a raw set of Bingles for me for fathers day.
