That seller is a new board member. He also has the offer on the BST. Link.

    Keets,

Maybe he was trying to corner the market and gave up after hoarding 12% of the populationimage

Wasn't there a thread about hoarding ... ah, here it is Hoarding? Good or bad?

Maybe this can be a hoarder starting setimage

$6000-$8000 in sumission costs for economy image

reserve is probably over 10K - there muist be a better way to liquidate this hoard

note to self -> don't try to corner the market in 1 item for when time comes to sell, I will take a bath

Wow, for the 73-S 1149 in 69 DCAM and NONE in 70. You would think at least one or two of those would merit a 70!!

    Forgive the ASCII graphics:

    | 27 Jan 05 | 6 Feb 06
    Date | Pop | Guide | Pop | Guide
    _____|______|________|______|_________
    68 | 125 | $250 | 142 | $175
    69 | 54 | $800 | 60 | $515
    70 | 49 | $700 | 56 | $535
    71 | 28 | $3500 | 35 | $875
    72 | 58 | $750 | 94 | $150
    73 | 484 | $225 | 1149 | $75
    74 | 909 | $100 | 1568 | $100
    75 | 1801 | $65 | 2648 | $55

Compared to 1973, the 1971 really took a hit!

I guess that is a risk for moderns. There are still millions of unbroken proof sets in the supply chain.
