  • Yes you are, Ben, yes you are.

Your basically paying $27.16 for that one toned dime.

By the way, my NewPs were 10 toned dimes image I know of one that I think colorfulcoins (Craig) would be interested in image

If the roll was still intact, I think it would have been a good buy. I agree w/OffMetal on the one dime.

A BU roll of dimes runs about $35. That means I paid $20 for the dime. If you have seen the price some of the rainbow dimes sell for, you wouldnt be teasing me for spending $20 on it imageimage

Ben look at my signature line. The total for the 4 dimes was less than 10 bucks and they are all comparable to a certain 58D. Actually maybe better.

Just think if the 58D that Lucy is sending to PCGS will get you 10 bucks back if it goes 66.

Yes your purchase was CrAzY !!

Ken, those 4 look nice but none of them seem to have the color that this "certain" 58D has. If you can hook me up I will gladly pay $10 for anymore coins with the kind of color this "certain" 58D has image

I wouldn't have done it, but to each their own.

I do notice you like chaning your ebay name a lot though image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Yeah. Its my dad's account but he lets me use it. I started with a Pokemon name (Wow. How did I used to like that stuff?! image ) and then went to a paintball themed name. That was too long and thus the next 2 changes. I just recently decided to have a more appropriate name, and it will be staying as thompsoncoins.

Ben look at the color on the first dime by the date. That is what the whole obverse and reverse looks like. Its awesome. The two Blue ones will knock your socks off also.

Remember my photo's of Roosies suck and I cannot get any better for some reason. Below is a 15 buck roosie.

    Good Luck with the roll.

If the 57P looked like this, I'd certainly understand why you bought the roll ! This kind of toning brings BIG bucks..... the crescent on that 57P looks cool but if the coin isn't a MS65 or better when slabbed, you'll most probably not get your money out of it. Not criticism, just my perspective (I looked at the auction on ebay when it was running).

At least they are BU. I went to a local public auction in Gettysburg a few weeks ago where they had $5.00 lots of circulated Roosevelts that started out at over $50 per lot. I think you did okay.

    Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

If you think that's bad, I spent $92 for a nice roll of 1969 BU Roosevelts a while back for MrsSpud. That's right, $92 for a roll of clad dimes and none were toned or anything. This was right after we realized just how hard it is to find 1969 Roosevelts. 1969 will be the key date for clad dimes someday if clad dimes ever have their day.
