1851 o gold dollar, pretty sure it's cleaned hi res pics

  If you like the coin then its worth keeping, I have coins in my type set that have problems. The 1851-O Gold $1 is a common date so it might take a good hit on price, It looks like a harsh cleaning to me

  Pretty significantly hairlined, definitely cleaned. It's a common date, and I would pass.
  
  Would you as a collector ever buy a cleaned coin?
  
  As a rule, I try to avoid cleaned coins, but cleaning is a relative term, and there are exceptions to every rule. I have both knowingly and unknowingly purchased cleaned coins in the past, but they were generally rare coins and ones that do not often come to the market in any grade.
