Ernie, I do not know you, my name is Joe. It is not a matter of doubt here. Most of us know about SGS and most of us are quite aware of the TPGs out there. The graders at ICG, PCI, ANACS, and NGC all know each other, too. There are egos and talent all over our industry and many a reputation built. And though we all get slammed on occasion for missing the boat, most will admit they are in the same waters.
The facts are: TPGs are time tested.
and for some, it's just a matter of time.
These coins may sell to unsuspecting "newcomers" or "suckers"
.... but we are opening their eyes, and people that sell CRAP are gonna get CRAP.
We see what is happening and we cannot stop it, SGS will see a windfall before the downfall, but there will be a downfall when the TRUTH comes out.....it's just a matter of time.

What do you mean when you state damage to a coin when the slab isn't (I presume since I've never owned one that I can remember) sonically sealed?
Since you probably only seem to sell super high grade coins, any damage to a coin must have been done be the new owner, thereby voiding the guarentee.
And you have 'original' images to prove how the coin looked......
& getting back to the title............For all of the members who doubt SGS .....this may take a day or 2 for you dial-up guys!

Yet, sadly Mike.... this company is rolling in the millions because it started with the better slabs and went downhill after building the trust. They will slide some of the top tiers in, but you can rest assured if it is a coin that bodybagged, SGS will house it and this seller will easily "Slide" someone else into it and then get a positive feedback for it .... crazy how it works, but it works.

I bought a 71-S silver Ike SGS "MS70" on eBay that actually looked pretty good, for around $12. PCGS put it in an MS66 holder, a good deal for me. I bought another '71-S in a SGS holder "MS70" that was junk and that was my last attempt to grade SGS on the internet.... Rob

At first you would think 99.2% POSITIVE rating is very good, & for a 'small' seller I think it is (beats my rating!), but considering the informed stay away, that means that 438 buyers realized that they were sold junk.
The others probably don't know any better!

If anyone remembers when I FIRST joined here I listed a lot of SGS coins and quoted PCGS price guide , MAN DID I GET THE REAMING OF MY LIFE LOL and learned a alot about what I did not know about SGS,pcgs,ngc,ETC
BOOM SAVED ME FROM THE WOLVES(even though he started it all lol) He took the chance and ask me if I knew anything about SLABBED COINS,I have learned alot from him and everyone here .
TAKE SOME ADVISE It is not worth the money to purchase a SGS (I still have 30 slabs I cant get rid of) A few are worth cracking out but I do NOT have time for that the rest would go ms64/65+? my loss So take it from someone who has learned a lesson and has spent money for what I thought was a good deal only to find out I got burned Hope this helps ? oh yes....and if you have a good eye and buy the coin not the plastic you can build a great collection
if you only use one service you can also build a great collection but it will cost more.....take longer and be some what less than it could be
