Interesting tidbit - Symbolism in coinage

We all know that many coins have 13 stars on them to represent the original 13 colonies. Did you realize though that the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" has 13 letters in it? Also, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" has 13 different letters in it. I just read this in a coin book (some of you can guess which one I'm sure).
Do you think this is all coincidence? Are there any other less than obvious references to 13 on coinage?

Not nearly as spooky as all the whacko conspiracy cultists who fill the web with gigabytes of zaniness and off the wall nonsense about Freemasonry.
They were educated men in a time when reading and writing were uncommon traits. Most, if not all, of our Founding Fathers were Masons.
The Masons initial goal was to push humanity towards it's potential. I believe it still is.

Does anyone know why Friday the 13th has been labled as a "bad luck" day. (hint: it has nothing to do with the movie)

It has something to do with a guy who was burned at the stake on a Friday the 13th way back in the year 1314. At least I seem to recall something to that effect. The guy was some sort of cult/religeous leader. Perhaps a google search is needed. I remember thinking it odd that the year wasn't 1313.

Aha! Found this--------> Jacques de Moley was tried and burned at the stake for being a heretic. This was a secret move by the
Priory of Sion to get even for betraying them in the trust of their Gold. This persecution actually happened and it occured on Friday March 13, 1314.
